SAND ART
Escudero Gallery in 2005. Leaving tiles behind, in this exhibition highlights the fascination with pure, hard color, a feature absent in tiles.
The small ceramic squares that were left behind are still very present in these works, where geometry and symbolism manifest themselves fearlessly. The sands that delimit them are refractory and immune to external influences.
Ultimately, a metaphor for the permanence of tradition or form, even when times change.
