SAND ART

Escudero Gallery in 2005. Leaving tiles behind, in this exhibition highlights the fascination with pure, hard color, a feature absent in tiles.

The small ceramic squares that were left behind are still very present in these works, where geometry and symbolism manifest themselves fearlessly. ​The sands that delimit them are refractory and immune to external influences.

Ultimately, a metaphor for the permanence of tradition or form, even when times change.
